I thought about the five different moods we could choose from, some obvious connections would be creating comfort - e.g. making a nice seat, since typically bike seats are notoriously uncomfortable. However, these simple ideas don't really create a new experience, in fact I have already changed the seat for my bike, since the original was designed for mountain biking and thus more uncomfortable than normal. So I decided to venture further than this for my project, bellow are my favourites.
Option 1
Glamour: The idea would be to paint my bike in a glamorous fashion.
Option 2
Glamour: The second way I thought I could invoke the mood of glamour would be to decorate my bike with lights, which would then create lovely colours and patterns when moving. This idea is based on the revolight idea for forward and rear lights.
Option 3
Rebellion: This idea took a little longer to think of than the other two, the idea is to dress in biker, as in motorcycle gear when biking. This firstly was interesting to me since it combines an existing rebellious thing to the act of biking, plus it's also moving completely away with the common practices of biking. Since when cycling, the attire is typically to dress down, in thinner and lighter clothes, this would fly in the face of many, if not all, preconceived notions of what a cyclist would wear.
