The aim for project 1 is to "Produce an animation in which the shape of the objects relates to their movement in an interesting way." Out of the inspirational material provided, i found op art to be the most captivating, so i decided to incorporate the op art style into my design as I began to animate.
Example of Op Art
I liked the look of the spirographic patterns I made in exercise 1, so i started my animation based on the code i made for one of my earlier patterns. After playing with my code for a while I decided to add 'frameCount' into the frequency of my geometric patterns, animating them. Below are some of the images I made using this technique.
After some alterations, I found that I had an extremely interesting animation thats geometric shapes would evolved as the animation played out. I really like the psychedelic nature of the animation, so i plan on pursuing that style as my animation develops.
