Project 1 - Further Development

One of the things I liked about my first animation was how it pulled your attention into the center of the screen, drawing you in like a wormhole. I researched some psychedelic images and thought of ways I could strengthen the psychedelic nature of my animation. Here are some that i found most inspiring:

I thought adding colour would be a good start, but it didn't seem to be enough, so animated the colour values so it would change over time. The colour only changes for a few minutes but that is all i need it for. I also liked how it moved in and out of recognisable shapes, almost like a radio tuning in and out of reception, however it was far too fast to keep track of, so I slowed the change of frequency down a lot. I also started the animation part way through, since starting the animation at frequency 0 was rather boring and slow.
