Heat Wave: Sensory Ethnography

Our goal was to illustrate what observing traffic was like, with particular interest in sensory experiences we wouldn't normally be conscious of.  For this exercise my group and I explored the sensory experience of the exhaust from passing cars. I made the image bellow as an attempt to show the warm yet sickly feeling of a cars exhaust. I reflected that nature of the exhast like a warm sticky wave of heat in the otherwise cool environment,  i reflected this using colour, consistency and flow to create the image shown below.
